Lead Cashier

Lead a shift of one-to-two cashiers to process all types of cash, credit, and debit transactions. Complete end-of-shift reports, close out procedures, and ensure compliance with rules, regulations, and policies. Follow guidelines for restricted merchandise sales, maintain a clean work area, and use suggested selling methods to promote products. Handle guest complaints, resolve team member conflicts, and communicate issues to management. Determine break schedules, manage team placement, and assist with travel center functions including deli maintenance, restroom cleaning, stocking, and coffee service. Ensure quality service is delivered to every guest and model behaviors supporting the company's common purpose.
