Job Summary
Oversee front-end operations, including running breaks, processing transactions, and ensuring accurate cash handling while supervising and training cashier and courtesy clerk teams. Address customer inquiries promptly, assist with stocking products and maintaining shelf label accuracy, and enforce safety and security protocols. Manage a clean, organized front-end area and collaborate with other departments to support store-wide initiatives. Requires high school diploma, prior cashier experience, strong math skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently. Flexible schedule covering mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior experience as a cashier
- Strong leadership, organization, and time-management abilities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable using Word, Excel, Outlook, POS systems
- Excellent math skills and the ability to use data to drive staffing and sales
- Lift/move grocery and bulk items up to 50 lbs. (up to 100 times/day)
- Handle carts, dollies, and electric pallet jacks
- Stand, walk, bend, and twist frequently
- Flexibility to work various shifts mornings, evenings, weekends as needed
