Lead Case Manager

Job Summary

Manage case loads and track progress for assigned children in compliance with federal and state regulatory guidelines. Review family reunification packets, submit required forms to the Department of Children's Services and Executive Office of Immigration Review, and assist children during departure or reunification. Process sponsor information, facilitate document signing, and compile accurate records while maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards. Participate in case staffing meetings, workshops, and scheduled one-on-one meetings with children. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support reunification processes and emergency protocols. Fluency in English and Spanish required.

Required Qualifications

  • Fluency in English and Spanish
  • Master's degree in the behavioral sciences, human services or social services fields
  • Bachelor's degree and at least three (3) years progressive employment experience that demonstrates supervisory and case management experience
  • First aid certification
  • CPR certification
  • Emergency behavior intervention certification
  • One (1) year related experience and/or training OR three (3) years of progressive employment experience that demonstrates supervisory and case management experience with a bachelor's degree
  • Two (2) plus years related experience and/or training
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment
  • Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request
  • Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks
  • Respond sensitively and competently to the service population's cultural and socio-economic characteristics
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members, service providers and professionals
  • Provide crisis intervention according to training provided by Compass Connections when needed to maintain a safe environment
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain emotional control and professional composure at all times
  • Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position
  • Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of all Compass Connections policies and procedures
  • Annual Influenza vaccination or obtain an approved exemption as a medical or religious accommodation
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
  • Must be available for evenings, weekends and holidays as needed or requested by position supervisor
  • Must comply with required dress code at all times
