Job Summary
Read blueprints, specs, and instructions to guide rough framing of walls, ceilings, flooring, and roofs. Execute finish carpentry tasks including crown molding, window/door casings, baseboards, fixture installation, and cabinet work. Perform shoring erection, repair or replacement of patios, decks, doors, cabinets, and appliances, while managing necessary demolition. Check completed work accuracy against plans and supervise crews and subs on site. May include drywall, patching, and painting as needed. Requires 5+ years of carpentry experience, proficiency from frame to finish, ability to read building codes, and a valid driver's license. Salary ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 per year with health insurance, 401K, and paid time off.
