Job Summary
Lead Carpenter at Premier Service Company, Inc. oversees skilled carpentry across residential framing and finish carpentry projects. Combines hands-on field work with crew leadership by directing daily job-site operations, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating with project and property management teams to ensure work is completed on time and to scope. Responsibilities include performing carpentry tasks (framing, interior/exterior trim, doors, windows, stairs, cabinetry, finish details), reading blueprints/work Orders/specifications, leading and coaching crew members, mentoring less experienced workers, coordinating with property managers to prioritize repair/maintenance work orders, communicating material needs and scheduling conflicts to the Project Manager, applying general construction knowledge across disciplines, maintaining a safe and professional site, representing the company professionally, and performing additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in residential framing and finish carpentry
- General construction knowledge and field experience
- Experience leading or managing field employees
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Successful completion of required criminal record and motor vehicle record background checks
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Physical ability to perform demanding work and lift up to 75 lbs
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
