Job Summary
Lead Carpenter at Inch & Co. leads carpentry across residential and commercial projects, performing framing, trim, doors, windows, cabinetry, and finish work. Reads blueprints and project specs to ensure accurate execution, directs and mentors crew members, coordinates with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain schedule, ensures workmanship meets quality standards, building codes, and safety requirements, communicates issues, and assists in material estimation and ordering. Requires 4+ years of carpentry experience, leadership experience preferred, valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and strong attention to detail; in-person supervisory role with health insurance options, 401k with match, paid holidays/PTO.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of carpentry experience in residential or commercial construction
- Prior experience leading or supervising a crew preferred
- Strong knowledge of framing, finish carpentry, and general construction processes
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret project specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Valid driver's license required
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks regularly
