Job Summary
Plan daily work, review blueprints, and execute hands-on carpentry for framing, drywall, flooring, siding, roofing, and fine finishing on restoration and rebuild projects. Guide your crew, coordinate with Project Managers, and ensure all measurements, cuts, and installations meet precision and safety standards. Work on-site to transform fire-damaged homes and restore commercial spaces, utilizing advanced tools and construction math while adhering to rotating on-call schedules and overtime requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of carpentry or construction experience in restoration or a related industry
- Advanced knowledge of framing, finishing, drywall, flooring, roofing, siding, and cabinetry installation
- Proven ability to read blueprints, apply construction math, and plan material needs accurately
- Skilled in the safe use of hand and power tools with strong attention to quality and detail
- Knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, safety practices, and cost awareness
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to support and guide others
- Proficient in using mobile devices and Microsoft Office applications
- Valid full class driver's license and clear driver's abstract
- Fit test and other safety certifications
- Must be able to work overtime, on weekends and participate in rotating on-call schedule
- Ability to complete work activities that may involve material handling, lifting, climbing, and the use of personal protective equipment including respirators, safety footwear, and other required gear
Desired Qualifications
- Journeyperson certification in carpentry preferred
