Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on tractors and tanker trailers, conducting Kemira's Hazardous Materials (HM) inspections to ensure full compliance. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on medium to heavy-duty fleet equipment, accurately document repairs, and complete work orders while maintaining a clean, organized work area. Follow all safety procedures and collaborate with supervisors to support uninterrupted fleet operations for the customer. This role requires HM certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a mobile or shop environment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience performing diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs on tractors and tanker trailers
- HM (Hazardous Materials) certification
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position
- Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical
