Job Summary
Lead Caregiver at Pacific Pointe Senior Apartments in Chula Vista, CA. Oversee daily shifts, supervise floor assignments, and manage staff call-outs while onboarding and mentoring caregiving staff. Direct care for residents includes assisting with ADLs, bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility, plus administering or assisting with medications per MAR and state regulations. Lead reporting and compliance efforts, update care plans, and ensure safety/state protocols. Conduct shift handovers and provide team leadership in a compassionate, growth-oriented environment with opportunities for advancement. Requires 1–2 years of caregiving experience (assisted living or memory care preferred), willingness to undergo background checks, and completion of required training, with emphasis on harm reduction, trauma-informed approaches, and de-escalation techniques.
Required Qualifications
