Job Summary
Lead Caregiver overseeing daily shifts, supervising staff, onboarding and training new caregiving staff, and providing direct resident care including ADLs and medication assistance. Responsibilities include managing floor assignments, handling staff call-outs, leading shift handovers, monitoring resident changes, updating care plans, and ensuring compliance with MAR and state regulations. Ideal candidate has 1–2 years of caregiving experience (assisted living or memory care preferred), strong leadership and mentorship skills, and a compassionate orientation toward seniors; willingness to undergo background checks and training.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years caregiving experience (assisted living or memory care preferred)
- Willingness to undergo background checks and required training
- Incorporating Harm Reduction, Informed Trauma Training and De-escalation techniques
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards individuals from diverse backgrounds, including the underserved population
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine interest in working with seniors
