Job Summary
Model and advocate for operational excellence by conducting detailed case management, authorizing participant reimbursements, and coordinating supportive services. Meet with job seekers to identify employment barriers, develop management strategies, and maintain accurate, timely case notes in electronic and manual systems. Serve as a liaison between customers and service providers while tracking obligations for reimbursement funds and scheduling appointments. Ensure eligibility, enrollment, and placement information is accurately recorded within tracking systems, maintaining strict confidentiality of job seeker data. Support the team with data entry, operational tasks, and leadership meetings as needed. This hybrid role requires a valid driver's license and resides in New Mexico.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (strong verbal communication, good listener, articulate, culturally sensitive and excellent written communication)
- Demonstrated experience with workload management and accountability; plan and organize assignments to create timely, accurate work products
- Demonstrated analytical skills to include using logic and reasoning to assess information, form logical conclusions, evaluate options, and make decisions or recommendations
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook
- Experience with federal, state, and local regulations related to employment and training programs including general knowledge of the workforce one-stop and partner programs and partner programs and services
- Knowledge of characteristics associated with unemployed, dislocated, and disadvantaged populations
- Strong writing skills to include report writing
- Demonstrated experience working independently while maintaining collaboration
- Current valid driver's license (with low-risk driver rating) and automobile liability insurance required
- Residing in New Mexico
