Job Summary
As the Lead Cafeteria Cashier, you will train and mentor new cashiers, manage cashier banks and fulfill change orders. You will operate the cash register accurately, prepare deposits, and support dining area setup during meal periods. This role requires strong math skills, cash handling proficiency, and excellent customer service skills to enhance the dining experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years of experience as a food service cashier
- A current Food Handler’s Permit (or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire)
- Proficiency in operating a cash register
- Strong basic math skills for deposit prep and transaction tracking
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a healthcare food service environment
- Experience training or mentoring team members
