Job Summary
Provide CAD drafting services supporting physical network infrastructure design projects and BIM modeling. Create professional CAD drawings per Edge standards and assist project teams with scope, content creation, and coordination. Attend meetings with Edge, COLOs, and other third parties to provide design details and statements of work across project lifecycles. Draft CAD drawings adhering to architectural, civil, and structural engineering principles; develop POP site plans; output documentation to Edge repositories with version control; monitor milestones; support QC and as-built efforts; contribute to process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years related work experience in OSP and/or ISP fiber detailed design
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering technology or sciences preferred or any other degree, specialized training, or experience
- Advanced knowledge of CAD and AutoCAD software to include Revit
- Excellent technical design skills
- Strong written and oral communication
- Ability to drive results
- Decision quality
