Lead Business Value Delivery Architect

Job Summary
Own the professional and content thread of solution design end to end, framing client opportunities around business outcomes rather than requirements checklists. Engage during the sales cycle from discovery through down select to establish baseline metrics and define the definition of done jointly with the client. Explicitly cover non functional and operational requirements including performance, scale, availability, security, integration, data migration, and operability. Move into rapid planning post-signing to harden the solution against platform capabilities, steering toward standard configuration over bespoke build. Hand over documented designs to delivery teams and maintain integrity through quarterly business reviews to catch value drift early. Own migration outcomes through the analyse, dispose, bridge, and migrate framework for assigned clients. Serve as the first internal customer for AI in delivery, setting standards for tool usage and human verification of AI-drafted work. Work with the SA group to improve processes and outputs for quicker implementations, including the SaaS migration factory.
Required Qualifications
- Track record designing or leading solution design in complex, enterprise insurance implementations
- Experience spanning both presales and delivery
- Ability to speak credibly to both a head of claims and an engineer
- Experience across P&C, Life, and Reinsurance
- Strong knowledge of non functional and operational requirements: performance, scale, availability, security, integration, operability
- Demonstrated ability to hold the professional and outcome vector, keeping internal teams and clients aligned to agreed business outcomes
- Experience with, or strong aptitude for, legacy to SaaS or core platform migration work
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native platforms
- Proven track record working at Born-in-the-Cloud (BIC) companies
- Proven track record working at global enterprise environments
- Proficiency in leveraging AI-driven tools and platforms to design, optimize, and scale enterprise solution architectures
- Comfortable operating in a function that is still being built
- London or Cardiff (Hybrid flexible)
