Job Summary
Lead Agile Design Engineer within the ATLAS team to identify current and target states for designated capabilities, map impacts to people, process, data, and app functionality, and document milestones and dependencies needed to reach the target state. Develop roadmaps and TOMs for the Member Protection portfolio, ensuring alignment with architecture standards and enterprise vision. Partners with business and technology resources to translate business needs into technical solutions, coach teams, and lead highly complex projects while incorporating risk and regulatory considerations. Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, deep knowledge of bank products and processes, and extensive experience in process design, quality management, and agile delivery. The role supports a flexible work environment with in-office requirement 4 days per week and multiple U.S. locations (San Antonio, Plano, Phoenix, Colorado Springs, Charlotte, Tampa).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience
- 8 years of experience in business process consultation, process design, developing business processes, procedures, measures, metrics
- Expert knowledge of bank products and processes
- Experience leading programs/projects, business process owner/consultant or working in an agile environment
- Extensive experience in applying quality management, process improvement, and leveraging process improvement tools and methodologies
- Experience applying retail bank subject matter expertise to simplify the customer experience, standardize process execution, and automate where possible
- Expert experience/ knowledge of Risk Management frameworks and Banking Regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and/or evaluation of business processes
- US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner
