Job Summary
Mentor and coach Business Operations Associates while serving as Manager on Duty to direct workflow and resolve transaction questions. Delegate and monitor Business Office tasks to maintain accuracy in processing paperwork for retail sales, appraisals, and funding documentation. Manage cash operations including deposits and safe handling, while delivering exceptional customer service and adhering to Environmental, Health and Safety requirements. Requires completion of CarMax-provided training for cross-functional coverage, proficiency in data interpretation and PC applications, and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods. Hourly rate ranges from $19.20 to $30.70. Located at Mid Rivers Mall in St. Peters, Missouri.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to create a positive, team-oriented environment and resolve customer or associate issues
- Strong delegation, follow-up, and decision-making skills using sound judgment
- Proficient in data interpretation, numeric filing systems, and intermediate PC applications (Word, Excel)
- Ability to multi-task in a high-energy, fast-paced environment and maintain accuracy
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for customer and associate interactions
- Completion of CarMax-provided training for cross-functional Business Office coverage
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift 15–20 lbs, with flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays
