Job Summary
Lead BI Engineer responsible for designing scalable data solutions and leading development of data pipelines that deliver reliable, actionable insights. Own the data model evolution to support current and future needs, architect and oversee data pipelines for analytical use cases, and develop semantic layers for self-service analytics. Drive dashboards and analytical products with clarity and business relevance, collaborating with stakeholders to align data solutions with strategic goals. Work with cutting-edge technologies in a Google Cloud-based data platform, focusing on data integration, quality, and performance, while exploring AI-enabled enhancements to add real value.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong BI/Data Engineering experience with end-to-end data solution delivery
- Advanced SQL skills; comfortable working with large/complex datasets
- Experience designing scalable data models and production-grade data platforms
- Hands-on experience with modern data warehouses, preferably BigQuery
- Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines in production
- Experience with orchestration tools
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform
- Experience with data transformation tools such as dbt or Dataform
- Experience with Power BI and semantic layer design
- Strong understanding of cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with technical and business stakeholders
- Interest in modern data practices and awareness of AI capabilities
