Job Summary
Lead, Business Development identifies and advances small to mid-sized provider groups with strong tuck-in acquisition opportunities. Owns the front half of the acquisition funnel from initial prospecting through executive handoff, remaining actively involved through diligence and LOI support. Combines field-based relationship building with disciplined pipeline management, collaborating with the Business Development leadership team to ensure strategically aligned acquisitions. Responsibilities include prospect identification, initial outreach, market research, relationship-building with physician owners and practice leadership, articulating Suvida's value proposition, maintaining Salesforce documentation, qualifying opportunities, and supporting transaction execution (including LOI preparation). Required skills include 5+ years in business development or healthcare growth, experience with physician owners or healthcare operators, M&A diligence exposure, Salesforce proficiency, and bilingual English/Spanish. Education required: Bachelor’s degree. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, in-market engagement, and a strong, credible executive presence in the market.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years in business development, corporate development, or healthcare growth
- Experience engaging physician owners or healthcare operators preferred
- Exposure to M&A diligence processes preferred
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) required
- Strong CRM discipline (Salesforce preferred)
