Job Summary
Lead Business Analyst (Director level) within Morgan Stanley's IST Division, focusing on analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical specifications. Responsibilities include leading workshops with stakeholders, developing and maintaining documentation of business processes, coordinating cross-functional teams, mentoring the business analysis team, and driving initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness of business processes. Key skills include agile practices (writing user stories, acceptance criteria, epics, backlog management), strong stakeholder collaboration, detailed requirement gathering, test-case guidance, and experience with data modeling, SQL, PowerBI, and UX design concepts to visualize and validate design concepts.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in a product management, business analyst, product owner, or user experience role
- Experience in an Agile setting writing user stories, acceptance criteria, epics and organizing the backlog according to the overall roadmap
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with business stakeholders
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage and execute simultaneous projects
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with SQL and tools such as PowerBI
- Experience leveraging AI tools to create documentation, business requirements, JIRA stories, test cases, etc.
