Job Summary
Lead Business Analyst role in Morgan Stanley's IST Division focusing on analyzing business processes, identifying needs, and establishing requirements to enhance efficiency and productivity. Responsibilities include conducting detailed analysis of business requirements, leading workshops with stakeholders, developing and maintaining documentation of business processes, overseeing the BA team, coordinating with cross-functional teams to integrate BA into project lifecycles, managing multiple BA activities, mentoring analysts, evaluating new tools/methodologies, and ensuring timely reporting of BA metrics. Requirements include 6+ years in product management, business analysis, product ownership, or UX, strong Agile experience with user stories, acceptance criteria, epics, and backlog organization, excellent communication with business partners, and proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with SQL, PowerBI, UX design concepts, wireframes/prototypes, and test case development is desired. Additional context: Director-level leadership track in technology solutions for Investment Banking & Global Capital Markets, with a focus on front-to-back delivery and collaboration across business, UX, and technology teams.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in a product management, business analyst, product owner, or user experience role
- Experience in an Agile setting writing user stories, acceptance criteria, epics and organizing the backlog
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with business stakeholders
- Proficiency in MS Office and related applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
