Job Summary
Lead Business Analyst within the Analytics CoE who owns end-to-end analytics use cases from problem definition through solution delivery and value realization. Acts as a trusted analytics partner to business stakeholders, guides analytics design decisions, mentors junior BAs, and drives analytics maturity across the organization. Responsibilities include leading discussions with senior stakeholders to identify and frame analytics use cases, defining enterprise KPIs and data mappings, producing requirements artifacts, performing deep-dive analyses, shaping analytics architecture with Product Managers and Engineers, leading UAT and production readiness, and communicating insights to executives. The role requires strong domain knowledge across functions, hands-on experience with SAP Analytics (BW, HANA, S/4) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), SQL, and a proactive, delivery-focused mindset; with opportunities for mentorship and standards improvement within the Analytics CoE. Required Qualifications
- 8–12+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Analytics/BI/Data environments
- Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional analytics initiatives
- Strong domain expertise in areas such as Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, Manufacturing, or Operations
- Experience partnering with senior business stakeholders and leadership teams
- Strong hands-on experience with analytics and BI platforms
- Deep exposure to SAP Analytics ecosystems (BW, HANA, S/4) and upstream SAP processes
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts
- KPI frameworks and semantic layers
- End-to-end analytics solution flows
- Experience validating complex dashboards and reports (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Working knowledge of SQL and data validation techniques
- Soft skills: stakeholder management, executive communication, ability to influence without authority
- Mentoring and leadership capability within analytics teams
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
