Job Summary
Conduct all fittings, alterations, sewing, steaming, pressing, and spot cleaning of garments to company standards while maintaining quality control guidelines. Lead and oversee the alterations team, training specialists in fitting and sewing techniques and ensuring ongoing product education. Manage customer flow using approved systems to deliver a 5 Star Customer Experience, including answering phone inquiries, resolving conflicts, and making clientele calls to maximize appointments. Assist stylists in closing sales by consulting on gown fit and customization, and communicate daily sales goals to the Store Manager. Perform floor management during peak sales times and maintain high dress code standards. Requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds; reports to the Store Manager.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or degree
- Prior seeing experience
- Prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior experience with computerized POS system
- Ability to use a computerized POS system
- Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time
- Must be able to reach for tools and objects with hands and arms
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must be able to talk to and hear customers
- Must occasionally lift to 25 pounds
- Must be able to see up close and at a distance
- Must be able to use peripheral vision and depth perception
- Must be able to look at, read, and use a computer and all other electronic devices for long periods of time

- Prior seeing experience in a bridal and/or special occasion production environment
