Job Summary
The Lead Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for conducting behavior assessments and developing individualized intervention plans to improve behaviors. Key responsibilities include conducting Functional Behavior Assessments, writing behavior assessment reports, developing and monitoring ABA therapy programs, and providing field supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians. Applicants must hold a Master’s Degree in ABA or related field, and be a Board-certified Behavior Analyst with at least 1 year of relevant experience. Knowledge of various assessment tools and ability to communicate effectively with parents and school personnel are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in ABA or related field.
- Board certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA, BCBA-D).
- Behavior Specialist/BCBA License for assigned state(s).
- 1+ years of professional experience as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) working with clients with autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
- Maintain CEU requirement and BCBA credential with Behavior Analytic certification Board (BACB).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to train new behavior technicians and family members regarding client treatment plans.
Desired Qualifications
- Fluent conducting ABLLS, VB-MAPP, PEAK, Vineland and QABF, MAS, FAST and Functional Behavior Assessments.
- Knowledge of scientifically validated methodologies for individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
- Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA practices.
- Knowledge of IBHS and managed care organization regulations.
- Ability to drive and lead practices while adhering to requirements of the state.
