Job Summary
Lead, manage, and supervise subordinate BMETs while performing technical inspections, repairs, calibrations, and overhauls of medical equipment at one of four depot locations. Ensure all equipment is well-maintained, properly configured, and safely functional by coordinating with the Program Manager and adhering to safety and security regulations. Enter data into Army automated systems as prescribed and submit monthly reports identifying completed work and total hours spent. Be available for short notice TDY travel within 48 to 72 hours. Requires 8+ years of experience, DoD or civilian biomedical technician school graduation, and Associate's degree or higher in Medical Equipment Technology.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a DoD or civilian biomedical technician school
- 8+ years of experience in healthcare and/or mechanical maintenance operations
- Associate's degree or higher in Medical Equipment Technology
- Comprehensive knowledge of medical equipment, policies, and procedures
- Ability to lead and manage subordinate BMETs
- Must be physically and medically qualified
- Be available for short notice TDY travel (within 48 to 72 hours)
