Job Summary
Lead Billing Analyst responsible for end-to-end billing and collections for a fast-growing SaaS business; owns the NetSuite billing module and manages complex billing models (subscription, usage-based, milestone, and professional services); drives process improvements and automation to scale the AR cycle; ensures accurate invoicing aligned with contract terms and ASC 606; maintains audit-ready documentation and supports SOX controls; collaborates with DealOps, Sales, Legal, IT, and Finance to resolve discrepancies and improve cash flow; develops and maintains AR dashboards and KPIs (DSO, aging, collection efficiency); supports month-end close and journal entries, and ensures compliance with revenue recognition policies.
Required Qualifications
- 4-6 years of billing, accounts receivable, or revenue accounting experience in a high-growth SaaS / software company
- Technical Proficiency with NetSuite billing module and Salesforce-to-NetSuite data flows
- Advanced Excel/Sheets skills (XLOOKUP, pivot tables, large data set reconciliation)
- Proven track record of identifying process gaps and implementing workflow improvements or automation
- Strong cross-functional communication skills with Sales, Legal, and Finance leadership
