Job Summary
Lead Behavior Technician responsible for delivering behavioral services to children, adolescents, and young adults with developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges across home, facility, and community settings. The Lead BT will oversee shift activities to ensure the treatment team functions smoothly and daily requirements are completed, providing person-centered care and treatment services. Requires QBHS experience or a related degree, with a focus on supporting individuals and families, adherence to safety protocols, and ability to lead a team during shifts; includes background checks and health screenings as part of pre-employment.ibilitable to the role and community impact.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to communicate in English, including both spoken and written
- Experience working as a Qualified Behavioral Health Specialist (QBHS)
- Three years’ experience working with people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities or behavioral health challenges OR a bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Ability to obtain and maintain First Aid, CPR - adult, child, and infant
- Valid Ohio Driver's License with Ohio BMV; proof of auto insurance; insurable driving record (five points or fewer)
