Lead - Base Oil Terminal

Job Summary
Lead Base Oil discharging operations from port to manufacturing plant, managing transfers via tank trunks and liaising with Production teams to receive tankers. Coordinate with independent surveyors for discharging while ensuring sufficient ullage based on parcel size, and conduct physical verification of stocks at dispatch points. Perform daily tank measurements per Chevron guidelines, verify documentation accuracy, and issue Work Permits for maintenance activities. This role includes work at height and requires medical testing for fitness and endurance. Candidates must hold minimum 3 A/L passes or equivalent vocational qualifications with 1-2 years of plant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 passes at A/L Examination (preferably Maths/Science Streams)
- Passed O/L Examination coupled with a Vocational Training Qualification from a reputed institution (NAITA, VTA, DTET, NYSC, CGTTI, SLTTI)
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a plant/manufacturing environment
- Demonstrate good interpersonal skills having worked in a prior team environment
- Working knowledge of English
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work at height
- Pass medical test to ensure required levels of fitness/endurance to perform duties of the role
