Job Summary
Lead BAS Controls Installer responsible for installation and field execution of BAS/DDC systems on commercial and institutional projects, with a focus on night-shift work. Lead installation activities, coordinate the installation team and subcontractors, participate in preplanning and execution to ensure timely delivery, run control wiring, install conduit, terminate controllers/sensors/field devices, troubleshoot system faults, and coordinate with other trades on active construction sites. Mentor junior installation technicians and support skill development. Role requires night shifts and occasional weekends, and work in active construction environments. Must have 5+ years of hands-on BAS/DDC installation experience and proficiency with platforms such as Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, or Tridium Niagara.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience installing BAS/DDC systems (not service or maintenance-focused roles)
- Experience installing systems using Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, or Tridium Niagara
- Experience working on commercial, healthcare, government, or institutional construction projects
- Ability to read and interpret control drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation plans
- OSHA 30 certification or demonstrated commitment to jobsite safety standards
- Ability to work night shifts consistently, with flexibility for overtime as needed
- Ability to reliably travel to regional job sites as required
