Job Summary
Lead Bartender role at Isla Bella Beach Resort overseeing bar operations and assisting the Food & Beverage team. Responsibilities include providing exceptional guest service, preparing and serving beverages (cocktails, wine, beer, non-alcoholic drinks), supporting daily bar operations, leading by example, training and coaching staff, monitoring guest satisfaction, utilizing suggestive selling to drive revenue, maintaining knowledge of menus and ingredients, ensuring sanitation and compliance, assisting with inventory and ordering, and supporting opening/closing procedures. Requires at least 2 years of bartending experience with luxury or high-volume hospitality experience preferred, strong leadership skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and state-age requirements to serve alcohol; TIPS certification preferred or obtainable upon hire.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience
- Luxury resort or high-volume hospitality experience preferred
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and beverage preparation techniques
- Excellent communication, guest service, and team leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Must meet state minimum age requirements to serve alcohol
- TIPS certification or equivalent preferred (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
