Job Summary
Lead Bartender role at Best Western Seaside Oceanview Resort. responsibilities include preparing and serving cocktails, taking food orders at the counter, delivering food and bussing tables, and maintaining an inviting bar atmosphere with beverage expertise and techniques. Requires bartending experience (minimum two years total, including one year in a supervisory/lead capacity), strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, mixology, liquor laws, cash handling, and standard POS operations, plus English communication skills. State Food Handler’s License and State Mixologist Permit required, with preferred certification such as TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol. Required Qualifications
- One year of related education, training and/or experience in bartending or beverage service
- Working knowledge of beverage preparation and service
- Current State Food Handler’s License and State Mixologist Permit
- Knowledge of liquor laws and cash handling procedures
- Two years bartending experience with at least one year in a supervisory or lead role
- English communication skills
- Current alcohol service certification preferred (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol)
- Must be 21+ per legal age to serve alcohol
