Job Summary
Welcome customers, identify preferences through consultations, and provide expert recommendations based on face shapes and tastes. Demonstrate high-quality technical skills including clipper cuts, fades, natural necklines, texturizing, and customization tailored to client needs and hair type. Build lasting relationships with loyal customers while maintaining grooming stations and sterilizing tools. Maximize retail opportunities through effective chair education and deliver the Tommy Gun's guest experience. Educate and train other barbers to improve their skills and ensure they uphold the brand's standards. Work full-time with flexible hours, earning a starting wage of $18/hour plus performance-based commissions and tips paid daily.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman-certified Barber or Hair Stylist
- Apprenticeship in progress
- Exceptional Customer Service Skills
- Adaptability to a Fast-paced Environment
- In-depth Industry Knowledge and Trend Awareness
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Flexibility for Shift Work
- High level across all haircut styles, fades and on trend styling as well as all shave services
- Extensive knowledge in upselling techniques/retail offering
- Ability to develop close working relationships with Shop Managers, National Education Team and Barbers
- Understanding of all industry trends
- Confident in one on one training
