Job Summary
Lead - Banking role overseeing depository verification, daily banking operations, and monthly reconciliations at Family Dollar’s corporate office. Responsibilities include supervising a banking team, matching bank deposits to store POS files via reconciliation systems, researching deposit discrepancies, loading bank files, developing trend reports to identify fraud/issues, coordinating with accounting and bank representatives, preparing journal entries, and coaching/mentoring team members. Requires leadership experience, ability to handle confidential information, strong communication and Excel skills, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities. Location-based on-site in Chesapeake, VA; full-time role with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent relevant banking / treasury experience
- 1-3 years financial experience or coursework in school
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Good planning and organization skills
- Good analytical skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel experience
