Job Summary
Lead Backend Engineer (PHP/Go) to design, develop, and scale a containerized microservices platform handling high-load data challenges for millions of users. You will mentor the development team, own the full lifecycle from research to deployment, drive technical decisions, review code and architecture, and contribute to an early-stage project focused on AI training data infrastructure. Must have deep PHP (Symfony) and experience with Golang/Node.js, SQL/NoSQL databases, and technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, and GitLab CI. Familiarity with TypeScript/ReactJS, DevOps practices, and a bias toward building scalable, reliable systems is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of PHP (preferably Symfony)
- Experience with Golang, Node.js
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, MySQL clusters, Redis, GitLab CI, and automated testing
- Ability to guide technical decisions, review designs and code, mentor other developers
- Strong communication, ownership mindset, and willingness to help others grow
Desired Qualifications
- Value playful communication over corporate BS.
- Previous experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating developers, formally or informally
- Any experience with DevOps practices (deployment pipelines, automation, etc.);
- Familiarity with front-end technologies and frameworks (e. g. TypeScript, React, etc.).

- Gross salary: 6500 - 7300 EUR/month. Keep in mind that we are open to discuss a different salary based on your skills and competencies.
