Job Summary
Lead Azure Cloud Developer responsible for the design, deployment, and maintenance of Azure cloud infrastructure. Maintain automation for provisioning and operations using Terraform; monitor performance, availability, and security; ensure best practices for security, compliance, and cost optimization. Collaborate with DevOps, application, and security teams to support cloud-native solutions, optimize resources for performance and scale, and maintain architecture documentation. The role requires hands-on Azure engineering experience, scripting skills (Python/PowerShell), familiarity with Azure Container Apps, and strong networking/security knowledge to support enterprise-scale cloud environments in a hybrid work setup in Letterkenny, Ireland.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Azure cloud engineering roles
- 2+ years of experience with using Terraform to automate Azure provisioning and maintenance
- Experience with scripting/programming (Python, PowerShell, or similar)
- Familiarity with Azure Container Apps
- Experience with git and GitHub Actions
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and system architecture
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Proactive and ownership-driven mindset
