Job Summary
Install home theatre systems and service residential security alarm systems for local and regional builders in Northern Virginia. Pull, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling including Category, fiber, speaker, and Lutron systems. Mount AV, network, control, lighting, and shading devices at wire ends while building and lacing equipment racks. Perform advanced setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of devices and networks. Lead and guide fellow technicians to deliver best projects, provide client communication, support, and training. Requires 3 years steady work history, ladder safety, and ability to pass a Virginia DCJS background check.
Required Qualifications
- Experience on construction sites
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to pull cabling
- Ability to use power tools
- Ability to use hand tools
- Steady work history (3yrs between hops)
- Pleasant disposition
- High EQ
- Ability to pass a background check to obtain Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) license
