Job Summary
Lead AV Field Technician to lead installation of residential and commercial audio-visual and communications systems across the New England area. Responsibilities include leading installation and setup of AV equipment (home theater, surround sound, smart TVs, and integrated control systems), ensuring proper wiring, connectivity, and calibration, providing maintenance and support for residential AV systems, troubleshooting audio/video/control issues, programming and configuring smart home systems to integrate with AV components, supervising and directing residential AV technicians, assigning tasks, educating clients on system operation, conducting quality checks to meet industry standards, documenting configurations and wiring diagrams, managing project budgets, and delivering an excellent customer experience. The role emphasizes professional demeanor, ethics, willingness to learn, adaptability to changing installations, and a collaborative, safety-focused approach.

- No chemical dependencies
- A clean driving record and background check is required for this position
- Experience: IT network cabling, AV, electrical or alarm system: 5 year plus
- Has prior work experience with installing audio, video, communication, or security cabling in a residential and/or commercial building
- Has experience installing and setting up audio, video, remote controls, and communication equipment
- Has an understanding of construction type documents and how to use them
- Is comfortable with learning new software and mobile applications
- An onsite assessment with a technician will be scheduled to better assess skills and understanding
