Job Summary
Lead Automotive Technician to diagnose drivability, electrical, and engine performance concerns and perform major repairs with minimal supervision; will help develop younger technicians and improve shop processes, working directly with ownership. Requires 5+ years of experience, EPA 609, and tools to perform advanced diagnostics and repairs. Offers include $35-$45 per flagged hour with guaranteed 40 paid hours per week for six months, signing bonus, health insurance, PTO, paid holidays, and ASE training. Schedule Monday-Friday; location South Austin, TX.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience
- Proven experience diagnosing drivability, electrical, and engine performance concerns
- Ability to perform major repairs and diagnostics independently
- EPA 609 required; ASE certifications preferred
- Must provide own tools
- Valid driver's license and background check required
- Bilingual and Tekmetric experience a plus
