Job Summary
Lead Automotive Technician responsible for independently diagnosing and repairing drivability, electrical, HVAC, and major mechanical concerns with minimal supervision; will help develop younger technicians, improve shop processes, and contribute to building a high-performing team. Role includes working directly with ownership, mentoring peers, and maintaining high standards of workmanship. Compensation features $35-$45 per flagged hour with guaranteed 40 paid hours per week for six months, plus benefits and a signing bonus; schedule is Monday–Friday.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience
- Proven experience diagnosing drivability, electrical, and engine performance concerns
- Ability to perform major repairs and diagnostics independently
- EPA 609 required
- ASE certifications preferred
- Must provide own tools
- Valid driver’s license and background check required
- Bilingual and Tekmetric experience a plus
