Job Summary
Triage issue reports from internal and external stakeholders and oversee the design, implementation, and execution of test strategies to ensure product quality. Apply understanding of developing, modifying, and evaluating test cases based on user stories relevant to manual and automated test planning. Analyze CMS environment, architecture, and interdependencies to determine appropriate test methodologies and cases. Contribute to the current automation frameworks base code, participate in code peer reviews, and execute reusable automated scripts using Page Object Model (POM) design patterns. Collaborate with web dev scrum teams to uncover ways to prevent future bugs and lead smoke tests and code deployment process improvements. Work closely with product owners to assess user stories and acceptance criteria, while proactively expanding knowledge of Agile software test methodologies. Modify and evaluate software test plans and frameworks to optimize complex applications, providing recommendations for improving testing practices in the wider organization.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years minimum relevant work experience
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in computer science, or related field; equivalent experience may be substituted for formal education
- Understanding Agile methodologies, Scrum QA process, and Agile project tools such as Jira
- Knowledge of testing product quality in software requirements for features and system qualities, product design, software design, estimates, source code, test plans, unit test harnesses, software and system performance data, software product information and bug fixes
- Strong Knowledge of web development standards and Python, Javascript & CSS
- Experience with Git, Selenium and Cypress
- Team player
- Excellence Orientation: Understands the marketing department's objectives and works diligently towards those goals, results‐oriented
- Good English (B2+), strong communication skills
