Job Summary
Lead automation and electrical concept support for Custom Engineering systems, advising customers on automation potential and safeguarding continuous improvement of automation know-how. Execute automation control system design, review, test, and start-up while managing external partners on electrical design, schematic drawings, and component selection. Write and review automation and electrical documents to ensure compliance with URS and regulations, then support Pre-FAT, FAT, and SAT activities for instrumentation, electrical, and automation aspects. Allocate 35% of time to design execution, 10% to partner management, and 10% each to documentation, bidding, and standardization. Travel to customer and supplier sites as required to implement lean production and coordinate with engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in automation or electrical engineering
- Expert in Emerson DeltaV software/hardware configuration, programming, and commissioning
- Experience with mainstream PLC and SCADA systems, such as Siemens PLC and Simatic Wincc
- Knowledge about GAMP 5, ISA88, 21CFR PART11 and GMP
- Experience in preferably pharma/biotech industry or alternatively in the food/beverage/cosmetics industry
- Good English speaking, reading and writing skills
- Travelling to customer & supplier sites is needed
