Job Summary
Lead Automation and Controls Engineer responsible for implementing and improving equipment at customer sites across the southeastern United States. Modify electrical systems and controls to meet customer specifications, troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success, and provide technical support to customers. Travel extensively to customer sites. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, strong PLC and PMA programming, blueprints/schematics/3D CAD proficiency, experience with robotics and/or machining equipment, knowledge of various controller brands, excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Strong proficiency in PLC and PMA programming
- Solid understanding of blueprints, schematics, and 3D CAD software
- Experience with robotics and/or machining equipment
- Knowledge of various controller brands
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
