Job Summary
Lead Auto Glass Technician position in Atlanta, GA. Lead a team of technicians delivering auto glass installation, repair, and forward-facing camera calibrations (static and dynamic) to OE/industry standards, in-shop and mobile. Responsibilities include mentoring junior technicians, guiding complex repairs and calibrations, monitoring workflow with local management, ensuring quality and safety standards, performing pre/post-scans, documenting calibrations and customer paperwork, and acting as a brand ambassador with outstanding customer service. Requires 7+ years of hands-on auto glass experience, advanced OE calibration knowledge (static/dynamic), current AGRSS and Dupont certifications, and proven leadership/mentoring abilities; strong communication, time management, and organizational skills; ability to work independently while elevating team performance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of hands-on auto glass installation experience
- Advanced knowledge of OE calibration systems and procedures; experience with both static and dynamic calibrations
- Current certification with AGRSS, Dupont, and successfully passed the Glass America Certification Exam
- Proven mentoring or leadership experience (preferred)
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Must be efficient in the removal and reinstallation of fixed glass
- Diligence in PPE and safety compliance
- Ability to work independently while supporting and elevating team performance
