Job Summary
Lead Auditor to launch and grow QuantiLAB’s Certification Business Unit in Southern and Eastern Africa, combining technical auditing excellence with entrepreneurial business development. Conduct food safety and quality certification audits (HACCP, BRCGS, GlobalGAP, ISO 22000, and related standards) as a qualified Lead Auditor, building a client pipeline and converting prospects into long-term certification partners. Leverage industry relationships to position QuantiLAB as the certification body of choice in the region; monitor market trends and regulatory developments to refine the offering. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 5+ years of experience in food safety auditing, strong knowledge of certification processes, leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment. Reports to the QuantiLAB Regional Director within the Certification & Operations team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Agriculture, Microbiology, or related field
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in food safety auditing and certification
- Experience conducting third-party audits under standards such as HACCP, BRCGS, GlobalGAP, ISO 22000, or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and certification processes (BRCGS, GlobalGAP, HACCP, ISO 22000)
- Proven leadership and management skills with ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment with competing priorities
