Job Summary
Lead Audio Video Technician responsible for the setup and operation of basic to large-scale audiovisual systems. Responsibilities include designing, planning, and installing AV systems, providing installation project oversight and updates, inventorying devices, testing and verifying functionality, performing maintenance and repairs, and handling related duties. Requires OSHA 30, CTS-I, and a high school diploma or GED; electronic-field education preferred and industry certifications (e.g., Forte Trainings, Audinate/Dante Levels, QSYS, Crestron) are valued. Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to organize project communications and milestones, proficiency with MS Office and construction-related software (Plan Grid, Bluebeam), and capability to troubleshoot networking, firewalls, and routing within AV environments. Willingness to travel to project sites; physical work in construction/installation environments is expected.
Required Qualifications
- OSHA 30
- CTS-I
- high school diploma or GED equivalency
- Formal education in electronics or related field preferred
- Experience with audiovisual installation techniques or field servicing
- Experience in public places (schools, offices)
- Industry certifications (Panduit, Systimax, BICSI, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license
