Job Summary
Lead Associate for Independent Price Verification (IPV) in Voya India. Serve as the Voya India lead for IPV controls and coordinate offshore valuation support activities (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly). Ensure timely, documented, and escalation-enabled IPV processes aligned with valuation procedures, pricing source hierarchy, and evidence standards. Prepare exception reports, maintain control checklists, track aged items, organize pricing support, prepare committee exhibits, and identify recurring data or pricing issues for root-cause review. Collaborate with Accounting, Performance, Referential, and Investment teams; work with pricing software (BlackRock Aladdin, ICE) and perform morning price downloads across asset classes; execute source-to-system price reconciliations between approved pricing sources (Aladdin, BNY, State Street, etc.); pursue process improvements including automation and standardized reporting; oversee offshore IPV activities and prepare aging reports for stale or missing prices and price challenges; track open items from pricing reviews to resolution; maintain vendor price challenges documentation and support committee materials; produce daily market close, price movement, stale price, and vendor comparison reports. Education: BCOM/MBA (Finance). Desired experience includes 8+ years in Investments, 4+ years in Investment Management, and strong knowledge of valuation concepts, pricing controls, and data tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI, Alteryx). Proficiency with pricing platforms (Aladdin, Bloomberg, ICE, JPM PricingDirect, BNY, State Street) and the ability to work US shifts.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Investments domain
- 4+ years of experience in Investment Management
- Familiarity with public fixed income, equities, FX, derivatives, structured products, syndicated loans, private credit, commercial mortgage loans
- Strong understanding of valuation concepts (fair value, evaluated prices, broker quotes, market data, model values, price challenges, price overrides, valuation support documentation)
- Strong data skills (Excel, SQL, Power BI, Alteryx)
- Experience with pricing systems or platforms (BlackRock Aladdin, Bloomberg, ICE, JPM PricingDirect, BNY systems, State Street)
- Ability to multitask in dynamic environment
- Strong relationships with onshore/offshore stakeholders
- Strong written communication and documentation skills
- Willingness to work in US shifts
- Should be flexible to work in US shifts and must extend when business requires
