Job Summary
The Lead Associate Golf Professional at Westchester Hills Golf Club will assist the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional with daily golf operations, manage tournament operations, and provide golf instruction. This role requires maintaining PGA membership, strong organizational skills, and customer service orientation. Responsibilities include managing golfer check-in, conducting lessons, and assisting in tournament planning and execution, along with maintaining inventory control and club fitting services to enhance customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Maintain PGA of America membership in good standing
- Actively pursue PGA membership (if a PGA Apprentice)
- Fundamental knowledge of the game of golf and rules of golf
- Fundamental supervisory practices and principles
- Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills
- Self-motivated with desire to promote and market
- Service and customer focused attitude
- Experienced in written and oral business communications
- Experienced computer user including Microsoft Word and Excel
Desired Qualifications
- 3 years of similar Assistant Golf Professional work experience
- Knowledge of Golf Genius, Jonas Software, and EZ Links tee sheet
