Job Summary
Perform all routine process operations at high level of efficiency and effectiveness on the DMMI Production 1 GIC Line, including standardized work, quality checks, material changes, preventive maintenance, and fault recovery. Execute complex changeovers and advanced troubleshooting while demonstrating innovation and teaching others using D-JI methods. Maintain deep process knowledge of machine operation and processing functions to ensure high-level efficiency. Complete required foundation courses and process skill requirements to be promoted to Level II Lead Associate. Bi-lingual competency in Battle Creek community languages is highly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Willing to commit to the area for 2 years.
- Must be able to pass DENSO Job Specific Communication Assessment
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position
- Last Performance Appraisal Meets or Better
- No Active Written Discipline
- More than 2 years, if currently in a Lead Associate position, unless promotable
Desired Qualifications
- Bi-lingual competency highly preferred in languages that reflect the Battle Creek community.
