Job Summary
Teach tennis classes for students ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans while managing class sizes of 8–16 students and maintaining a positive environment. Take attendance, manage student sign-ins, interact with parents and school staff, and capture class photos for documentation. Complete a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting. Work Monday through Friday from 1:00 to 5:00 PM, with some weekend options available, teaching approximately one hour of classes per day. All equipment is provided, and candidates must have reliable transportation around the East Bay and Peninsula. Applicants must be at least 19 years old, fully vaccinated, and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check.
Required Qualifications
- At least High School or equivalent
- Must be at least 19 years old
- Must have reliable transportation around the East Bay and Peninsula
- Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting work
- Must have valid work permit to work in USA
- Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work
- Applicants must already be eligible to work in the U.S.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous tennis teaching or playing experience
- USPTA/PTR certification
- Enjoy working with kids; patient, enthusiastic, and reliable
- Good communication and class management skills
