Job Summary
Lead Assembly Lead on the 3rd shift (10pm–6am, Sunday–Thursday) in Horicon, WI, responsible for directing the assembly line under the Assembly Supervisor, instructing assemblers, preparing work by studying blueprints and parts lists, coordinating with material handling and Production Control, verifying component fit and specifications, addressing assembly problems, supporting schedule efficiency and on-time delivery, maintaining safe and clean work environment, and contributing to team results. Requires excellent written and verbal communication, ability to perform dimensional measurement, basic math, attention to detail, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, PPE compliance, and experience in a technical manufacturing setting with leadership experience. Knowledge of G and M codes and computer skills preferred; lean manufacturing exposure desired.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Leadership experience in manufacturing
- Experience leading employees
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and parts lists
- Ability to perform dimensional measurements
- Ability to work in 10pm-6am shift (3rd shift)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in basic math
- Familiar with G and M codes (or ability to learn)
- Lean manufacturing exposure preferred
- Strong attention to detail
