Job Summary
Lead the team of assemblers across multiple product families by communicating daily requirements with employees, management, and sales. Coordinate day-to-day operations to ensure smooth workflows, organize workloads to meet production schedules, and read specifications to build and assemble products while detecting defects. Maintain a clean work area, follow safety procedures, and act as the liaison for general assembly and quality control questions. Train new employees on equipment use and provide input to improve assembly processes focusing on safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost. Requires high school degree, 5+ years in assembly/leadership, and ability to work extended hours and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree/GED
- 5+ years of experience in assembly/leadership
- Ability to work extended hours and occasional weekend shifts as needed
- Demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read prints and measure parts
- Maintaining a customer-focused mentality
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
- Complete an audiogram test
- Pass a Vision, Color Vision, and Depth perception test (for Aerospace department)
- Good manual dexterity
- Coordination
- Stamina
- Ability to wear personal protective gear most of the day

- Lean 101 training
- Experience in a Lean environment
